The location is amazing in the heart of Venice. Can walk everywhere and near to the square. Shout out to the check-in/reception staff and the bell boys - spot on with professionalism! Check-in was easy and seamless. Well done! Housekeeping excellent! Free tour via boat/water taxi to Murano. Loved the energy of the front desk and their willingness to assist with any request! Overall can highly recommend this hotel. The size of my room was decent (for European standards). Breakfast also good but for example eggs Benedict and others come with an extra charge. I also recommend providing more free bottled water than just one small bottle per day. Beds are extremely comfortable. Towels needs attention. Too thin but up to par for 4 stars.

The hotel was central and close enough to walk everywhere, the room was spacious and QUIET so we could always look forward to going back to it after a long day our exploring

Location within 4-5 minutes walk of St Mark's Square. Staff were very helpful and courteous before and during our stay. Room was well appointed with a canal view and a good size. Breakfast/lunch/dinner available on-site along with a bar.

It's a fabulous location, close to Piazza San Marco but in a quiet place on the channel. What is more important is that the hotel is VERY clean (seriously, the cleaning staff are incredibly attentive) and has brand-new furniture and equipment - a rare find in Venice. Highly recommended.

The hotel was excellent. We experienced exceptional service from all the staff. The hotel itself is very central and is just a few minutes walk from San Marco and the Realto Bridge. Well stocked mini bar. Dressing gowns and slippers. Bed is turned down in the evening with a complimentary bottle of water and a heart chocolate. We opted for the luxury meet and greet from airport which was brilliant. We were virtually met off the plane and escorted through passport control without queuing. Taxi then took us to the causeway where our boat was waiting to take us right outside the hotel where a concierge was waiting to check us in at reception. Excellent experience. Buffet Breakfast was 30 euros a day but it there was an extensive menu to choose from so I found it good value. Take good comfortable walking shoes as a lot to see. The hotel gave us a complimentary tour to the world famous Murano glass factory where we watched a demonstration which was excellent. We made lots of wonderful memories and a gondola ride is a must! ☺️

My time at the Splendid Hotel was indeed that—splendid! Though the location and facilities were all more than fine, it was once again the people that made the difference. And though everyone was completely professional and personable, I absolutely need to acknowledge one person, Dev (I don’t know his last name) who worked in the bar and lounge most evenings. His level of service and personal attention was exemplary, but it was his friendliness and conversation that made the real difference. I left feeling I have a good friend who works at the Splendid, which gives me the best reason to return to the hotel when I return to Venice. Kudos, Dev!

Fantastic location, central with easy walking distance to many of the sights and water transport options. Quiet at night. The hotel was beautiful designed and the staff all very friendly and helpful. Nice bar area. Cleaning was faultless. Room was spacious and had all amenities.
